Texthelp Podcast: The Future Directions of UDL

Headshots of James Basham and Steve Nordmark sit next to the title: Future directions for UDL. Texthelp Talks.

The latest podcast from Texthelp features our very own Steve Nordmark and James Basham. They speak with Texthelp’s Joni Degner about the future directions of UDL.

In this podcast episode, Joni, Steve, and James discuss the future directions of UDL, explore outcomes of the UDL-IRN Summit, and unpack the true definition of expert learner.

We've always focused on the adult side of it and I actually think one of future things could be UDL clubs of students really getting together, talking about their own learning, students supporting a UDL movement in their school, and actually empowering the learners themselves to take on that understanding.
