December 12th, 2022*
8:30 am to 3:30 pm (ET), In-Person or Virtual Options
*With Multiple Follow-up Sessions During the Winter/Spring Semesters
We are thrilled to announce our 6th Annual Great Lakes UDL Experience, this year with a twist: our focus will be on providing school leadership teams with a deep dive into systemic, school wide UDL implementation.
Administrative teams will receive a semester-long, immersive experience designed to help them understand and use the UDL School Implementation and Certification Criteria (UDL-SICC) to develop or refine their UDL implementation plan.
The in-person event will be taking place at Macomb ISD (44001 Garfield Rd #1100, Clinton Twp, MI 48038).

Day 1 Content
The event begins with a daylong session on December 12th featuring national speakers who will help teams use their school data and the UDL-SICC to understand their schools/districts strengths and needs. Content will be personalized to allow teams to select their own path toward improved UDL implementation.
Follow-Up Sessions
After the full day session, attendees will receive three additional follow up sessions. These will likely be around two hours, and fully virtual. Our goal is to provide participants with:
- new UDL implementation content based on your specific needs and interests.
- an opportunity to ask questions related to your progress implementing plans created during day one.
- opportunities to engage in ongoing conversations with other attendees to create your UDL implementation professional learning network.
Additional Support
In addition to the sessions described above, each school team will be supported by a UDL facilitator, focused on assisting you to build your school’s implementation plan.
Teams will also receive access to our online resource system, providing you with additional resources, modules, asynchronous sessions, and interactive content that you can access on your own time and at your own pace.
