We all know the kid that didn't do well in school.

The kid that had to be pulled out of class to work on reading. The kid that couldn’t sit still at his desk. The kid that always felt lost in math class. Maybe this kid was you. Maybe this is your own kid, struggling to keep up with the class. Maybe your kid is disengaged in the traditional school environment.

Universal Design for Learning (UDL) supports the design of meaningful, engaging, and effective learning environments for all learners. It promotes learning environments and materials that embrace learning differences - where inclusion and creativity are encouraged. UDL gives students the opportunity to reach their full potential by supporting teachers with the ability to design better learning activities.

If you believe in the importance of supporting teachers so they can meaningfully reach ALL learners, then you believe in the UDL-IRN’s mission. This #GivingTuesday, your donation will enable us to work with teachers and education leaders to improve learning opportunities across the country and around the globe. We appreciate any financial support and the reposting of this message. Your money will go toward:

  • Scholarships to help teachers learn how to implement UDL in their classroom.
  • Supporting FREE online professional learning opportunities for teachers, such as our monthly Network & Learn Webinar Series.
  • Designing materials and tools to help schools, such as yours, implement UDL.
  • Building a Parent Communication Guidebook to promote UDL conversations among parents and educators in your schools.

We would like to thank you for your consideration and support for the future of all learners.
